Role in the project and the expertise
we bring:

In the AUTARK project, Magna's main responsibility is specifying the requirements for the liquid hydrogen tank to be developed. Additional activities include significant support activities in the design of a next-generation lightweight liquid hydrogen tank concept, supporting activities for the simulation of relevant liquid hydrogen phenomena and the validation of stainless steel/aluminum transition joints through representative testing in the frame of the project. Additional testing activities include icing tests on a representative vent line of a liquid hydrogen tank.
