Role in the project and the expertise
we bring:
PEGASUS aims at enhancing advanced environmental testing of LH2 systems components with aspecial focus on icing behaviour for understanding the icing effects on safety-critical components.
Thisincludes experim. investigations of the formation, impact, and mitigation of ice under realistic environmentalconditions. PEG will establish and refine appropriate documentation methods for experimental testing of safety-relevant components.
This includes analysing icing effects and ensuring reproducibility in futureassessments. The structured documentation approach will support the validation of simulation models anddemonstrating the functionality of safety-relevant components under extreme weather conditions.
